Yes, this does accurately reflect the length of my battle with that sodding Garchomp, in relation to the rest of Cynthia's team.

Actually, according to my notes, Chopin got in on the battle towards the end too, but I couldn't include him since said notes failed to explain what happened while he was involved.

Of course, the suspense of 'omg it's not over yet' is dampened if you keep track of what Cynthia has left.

Intimidate did WONDERS for me in my first Platinum battle against Cynthia. I didn't come out well in the end, but without Intimidate I don't think I would have won.
