I don't suppose any of you remember the series of illustrations I did a while back about color? Eh, I've decided to redo it, in a more book friendly format this time [Although the book would be intended to hold on it's side, so that each double page leads further down]
Still working on this first page, changed the second kid's design a tiny bit, still needs tidying up a little.
Wasn't really sure where to submit this, as it's part of a story, but isn't really an illustration [as it's intended to stand without text.] but...would it be considered a comic? Maybe it is closer to that since it's just a sequence....?
::EDIT: Scene 2 added.:
The next part added, as I hope you can see the double pages are supposed work together to show that the kids are travelling further downwards. The second scene isn't quite as well done, unfortunately I had most of it drawn out yesterday but then forgot to save it. The large boring space there is in case I decide to add text to the page [Because to draw everything out then find out you didn't take leaving room for something like that into account would be a bitc D: ]
If I end up not adding text, I'll just find something to fill in the space with, probably move the characters a little further down too. I'm hoping to talk to my old Illustration lecturer about it since I want to go into college to pick up some work anyway :3 Hopefully he'll also know of a place that I can get the thing made into a book at as well.
::EDIT 2: Scenes 3 & 4 added:
Next two scenes done, decided to string the whole thing together so that it follows on when viewed all at once as well,a lthough how every other two frames match up is more important [The second and third don't go together brilliantly, but that's not too much of an issue since they wouldn't be on the same page anyway.]
Still 7 scenes left to do, the fun part starts next
::
::EDIT 3: Scenes 5-11 added
Okay, the next 6 scenes, taking part in this house underground, each occur in a different room with a color theme, which was the initial focus of the sequence [Less so now than first time around.] The chameleon is 'hidden' [and I use the term loosely.] in each of those 6 scenes [He's kinda' more noticable than before since the lines are thicker and darker than in the previous version...]
The last scene isn't quite done yet, the two kids are supposed to find their chameleon amongst a horde of other ones, the last scene basically having a multicoloured rainbow theme, need to try and make it a bit more extravagant but given the small space it may be a problem
Also considering extending that last scene to a double page of it's own, although this raises another problem.
I remember the sequences you posted awhile back, I really liked those
I love the details in the backround, you even got the shadows from the clouds which looks nice, look forward to seeing the rest of the sequences when and if you post them :3

I'd like to think that if nothing else I'm not too bad whren it comes to color choices
